Bring out your paintbrushes, open up your notebooks and put on your dancing shoes – August Arts is here again.

Whether you are interested in puppetry, painting, sculpture, literature, dancing or a host of other artistic pursuits, August Arts has something for you.

As well as the popular events from past years such as a spelling bee, the Cultural Encouragement Awards and African Drumming workshops, there are new events including a workshop on how to write grant applications for community art projects and an arts day at the Youth Resource Centre.
